Feb 29 - Mar 2, 2008 Clarion Hotel, 1219 Holiday Dr, Bloomington, IL 61704 (Formerly the Ramada Inn/Empire Inn/Holiday Inn) 309-662-5311 Reservations: For IRBBA Hospitality Room: $135 + Tax per night IRBBA Guest Room: $79.95 per night + Tax VERY IMPORTANT: When making reservations for your Boat Club Hospitality Room, you must contact Sales & Catering Office at 309-662-5311 Ext 0 to reserve an IRBBA Hospitality Room (only 16 available - reserve ASAP). You must reference IRBBA Hospitality Room. When making a reservation for your personal room, you need to contact the Sales & Catering Office at 309-662-5311 Ext 0 to reserve your IRBBA Guest Room (only 165 rooms available). If you do not reference IRBBA Guest Room, the Clarion staff will understand you are an outsider, and you will be charged $89/night. The IRBBA has reserved the entire facility, so PLEASE reference correctly!! CREDIT ARRANGEMENTS Individuals will be responsible for their own rooms and incidental charges unless otherwise specified in writing. To allow ALL boat clubs to visit and participate in Winter Games 2008, we ask that no more than 5 rooms may be blocked and reserved by one person (one name) at any point. Should your "blocked" rooms not be individually reserved BY FEBRUARY 15, 2008, the reservations will be released and be made available. If you need to cancel your room(s), please do so by February 27, 2008 to avoid any charges to your credit card. am Sunday (3/2/08) Winter Games becomes yet another historical icon. Find
your coozies, The Clarion is in the process of remodeling and expects to be nearly complete by the Winter Games. In addition, the Clarion now has banquet and catering services in addition to an inside restaurant and room service for your meals, and they have the customary free continental breakfast as in the past. Please frequent their restaurant for your meals!! Their restaurant, Americana, offers casual dining. Restaurant hours are from 6:00am to 10:00am and 6:00pm to 10:00pm. For a quiet cocktail or dancing, their lounge will accommodate any of our attendees' tastes or evening enjoyment. Hours are: 4:00pm-12:00am FOOD NOTE: Due to Clarion's Health Department Food License and associated health codes, open food will not be permitted in the atrium area. Any food brought in by your boat club (including but not limited to): veggie trays, crock-pots, sandwich trays, snacks, etc. AND outside pizza deliveries, ANY food deliveries, must be kept within your respective Hospitality and/or personal rooms, and WILL NOT BE PERMITTED INSIDE THE ATRIUM! This will be enforced by the Clarion Hotel Management. There is a restaurant within the facility and there are numerous restaurants in the nearby vicinity for your dining experience. BEVERAGE NOTE: Due to Clarion's Liquor License, bars, coolers, and open drinks (bottles, cans, squeeze bottles, coffee mugs, travel cups) will not be permitted in the atrium area. All beverages must be contained in open plastic cups. This also will be enforced by the Clarion Hotel Management. The 2008 Winter Games Theme is a All Kings and Queens are to bring their courts, throws and spirits to this Carnival to celebrate Mardi Gras. On Saturday, the First of March, Krewes wanting to participate in this
gala event shall dress Mardi Gras-style and Dens shall be decorated
accordingly.
